This home has basement walls that were starting to buckle because of the water pressure in the surrounding ground. Working with our engineer we installed a number of steel posts at predetermined spots along the walls. The “foot” is placed in a slot cut in the floor and the “ears” capture a floor joist and are bolted through. The posts are formed up to the block wall and concrete is poured in to fill the gap. The posts then fully support the inside of the wall and do not allow it to move any further.
