On this home the client wanted to enclose part of her screened porch to make a first floor bedroom for her aging mother. We framed up between the existing log posts and insulated the walls, floor and ceiling. Drywall was installed between the posts and the old exterior wall was left exposed in the new room. A window was removed and a new french door installed to enter the room. Cement siding was installed to compliment the log cabin look on the exterior.
